Dear Valued Client,
Never say, “Go fly a kite!” Someone may accept your dare and change the world – like Ben did.
Ben had a hunch. One day, he set out to prove it. How glad we are that he ignored any detractors – how glad we are that he flew that kite that stormy June day! For in a flash of inspiration, Ben Franklin confirmed that indeed, lightning is electricity.
Likely we take electricity for granted. Can you imagine life minus this modern miracle? I can’t. Nor can you. Without it, our world would literally plunge into darkness and grind to a halt. We can no more fathom life without lights than we can envision plates without food! Aren’t we grateful that Ben Franklin had the courage to fly his kite!
Now I’m certainly not advising that you fly kites during lightning storms. What I am advocating is this: think beyond the storm clouds. Seek ways to harness the winds of change. A kite floats in the air but is controlled from the ground. Be grounded in hope and let your dreams take flight.
Yes – go fly a kite! You just might electrify your world, and be a spark of hope for others.
